I identified the social institution in the article as ‘economic’. Economic Institution There are five common types of social institutions: economic, governmental, family, educational, religious. They are the principal structures in all societies and relate to general factors of social life and life overall. The chosen article relates to salary matter of males and females that is a part of the economic institution. In past years economies were considered as a trade, i.e. a general exchange when people traded goods with each other.
